How to make a techno song:
1. pick one note and play it over and over.
2. Add a kick drum on each beat, play that over and over.
3. play the first thing that pops into your head on the synthesizer. Loop this over and over.
4. Make it sound less loopy by tweaking the cutoff filter and add some white noise through a bandpass filter. Tweak the bandpass filter so it goes from low to high, and then switches back to low at each interval of 16 bars.
5. make some doubletime drum riffs to add later in the track to make it sound like the song is building in intensity.
6. Sample yourself saying something and loop that over and over.
7. profit.
