In this one, Steve puts one a classic Sonic 2 tune into swing time, and busts out the tap shoes. It hearkens to to contemporary, making heavy use of the 'Modern Talking' wavetable that is signature of the current era of electronic music, while taking most if it's cues from pop music sounds that would have fit right in on the radio when Sonic 2 first came out.


Digital Masturbation 3 is a 22 minute EP of remixed soundtracks to classic video games on Sega and NES, produced by Baboon Torture Division. Steve went to the internet to upgrade his synths and sample libraries, and acquired a plethora of free plugins and presets.
What better way to test out this embarrassment of riches than to pipe NES MIDI in and go preset surfing? Digital Masturbation 3 is a medley of highlights from hours of digital wankery.
