Steve Biloba goes solo with an electric ukulele and a drum machine. He belts out songs with whimsical yet topical lyrics and repeating choruses for broad public appeal. Using excessive audio effects processing, the ukulele is manipulated to sound like a screaming guitar, a funky bass, and a cosmic string section in real time.
Unlike those tediously repetitive recording sessions the professionals endure, this album was recorded in one take from start to finish on a giant greenscreen with background dancer puppets and trippy synchronized visuals. Pocketron XP, Specimen CS-7, and Big Tex a make guest appearance on tracks 8 and higher.
