Deep in the ocean of Naboo is the undersea megastructure known as Gunga where on the eve of war, followers of the old faith still enact the ancient rituals and chant the ancient songs. It is the beats and the mixing of Gungan vocal harmonies which is said to fill the warriors with an insatiable bloodlust, and incredible good fortune. This recording gives outsiders a rare glimpse into the forbidden world of Gunga. Because Gungas remain deliberately mysterious, they are misunderstood by the rest of the galaxy. While Gungan English gives the impression that they are baby-like, their music unmistakably evolved, and unmistakably adult.
